Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of an associate degree from a two or four-year accredited design and drafting program required.
  • Strong organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and time-management skills are required.

Important Skills: The following skills are necessary for long-term success in this position, but can be learned through on-the-job training for the motivated candidate:

  • Geometry calculation skills.
  • Ability to calculate and designate camber, blocking, and horizontal and vertical curve data.
  • Solve problems arising from errors made during drafting or in production.
  • Shoot elevations in the production areas.

 

Duties and Responsibilities: Once trained and/or certified, the individual filling this position will be asked to perform the following tasks:

  • Use computer related design/drafting equipment and software to develop designs for in-house production.
  • Work directly with design engineers to produce drawings from sketches, existing drawings, and electronic images.
  • Make final sketch of proposed drawing, check dimension of parts, materials to be used, relation of one part to another, and relation of various parts to whole structure or project.
  • Draft detailed multi-view drawings of products and structures.
  • Design parts and products based on written and verbal descriptions from design engineers.
  • Work closely with all production departments to ensure the drawings convey the correct information and are error free.
  • Work from customer drawings, internal drawings, government drawings, or specifications.
  • Make job site visits to get field measurements as assigned.

Standard Hours: Monday – Friday; 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

 

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and time-management skills are required.
  • Dependability through regular and reliable attendance is required.
  • High school diploma or GED is preferred. Equivalent work experience may be substituted for education.
  • All employees are responsible for the technical aspects of their position while demonstrating the Company’s core values: People First, Respect and Integrity, Innovation, Dependability, Enjoyment (PRIDE).

 

Important Skills: The following skills are necessary for long-term success in this position, but can be learned through on-the-job training for the motivated candidate:

  • Ability to use and read a standard tape measure.
  • Heavy equipment experience, including overhead crane and fork truck.
  • Material handling or physical labor experience.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and shop drawings.

 

Duties and Responsibilities: Once trained and/or certified, the individual filling this position could be asked to perform the following tasks:

  • Read work order or follow instructions to ascertain materials to be moved.
  • Convey material between storage and designated production areas.
  • Ensure all material is stored or rigged for movement in accordance with established safety policies.
  • Track, record, and locate material by assigned identification markings.
  • Clean and organize storage areas.
  • Load, unload, and relocate workpieces using overhead crane, fork trucks, and jib hoists in compliance with all safety protocol.

Standard Shift: Monday to Thursday, 3:15 PM to 1:45 AM.

 Requirements:

  • Dependability through regular and reliable attendance is required.
  • High school diploma or GED is preferred. Equivalent work experience may be substituted for education.

  • Use a grinder on workpieces to prepare for welding.
  • Fabricate and assemble steel bridge parts based on internal shop drawings.
  • Set up and operate fabricating machines such as automated welders and CNC drills.
  • Move workpieces using overhead crane and jib hoists in compliance with all safety protocol.

Standard Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
