Requirements:

  • Strong organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and time-management skills are required.
  • Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records is required.
  • Proficiency with or ability to learn computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Willingness to learn other accounting systems and software is required.  
  • A minimum of an associate degree with an emphasis in Accounting/Finance or related field or equivalent work experience is preferred.
  • Two years of prior accounting and/or accounts payable experience is preferred.
  • Possession of Notary Public commission for the state of Missouri or willingness to obtain commission is preferred.  

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive and verify expense reports; reconcile expense reports and other financial reports with account balances and other office records.
  • Facilitate payment of vendors which may include verification of federal ID numbers, reviewing purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Ensure outstanding obligations are credited upon payment, identify discount opportunities, and issue purchase order amendments or stop-payment orders as needed.
  • Assist with accounting records and ledgers by reconciling monthly statements and transactions.
  • Record entry of, verify documentation for, and distribute petty cash.
  • Calculate and report sales tax based on paid invoices.
  • Facilitate utilization of applicable grant funding, including document submission and record keeping.
  • Assist with other functions of the Accounting Department as needed.

Standard Shift:  Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

  • High school diploma or GED is preferred. Equivalent work experience may be substituted for education.

Important Skills: The following skills are necessary for long-term success in this position, but can be learned through on-the-job training for the motivated candidate:

  • Ability to use and read a standard tape measure.
  • Construction or fabrication experience.
  • Material handling or physical labor experience.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and shop drawings.
  • Welding experience.

 Duties and Responsibilities: Once trained and/or certified, the individual filling this position could be asked to perform the following tasks:

  • Use a grinder on workpieces to prepare for welding.
  • Fabricate and assemble steel bridge parts based on internal shop drawings.
  • Set up and operate fabricating machines such as automated welders and CNC drills.
  • Move workpieces using overhead crane and jib hoists in compliance with all safety protocol.

Standard Shift:  Monday – Thursday; 4:15 PM – 2:45 AM

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and time-management skills are required.
  • Dependability through regular and reliable attendance is required.
  • High school diploma or GED is preferred. Equivalent work experience may be substituted for education.

Important Skills: The following skills are necessary for long-term success in this position, but can be learned through on-the-job training for the motivated candidate:

  • Ability to use and read a standard tape measure.
  • Construction or fabrication experience.
  • Material handling or physical labor experience.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and shop drawings.
  • Welding experience.

  • CNC machine operation experience 

 Duties and Responsibilities: Once trained and/or certified, the individual filling this position could be asked to perform the following tasks:

  • Read and interpret cut sheets to select correct raw material of plate steel and execute correct cuts.
  • Use overhead crane to safely maneuver material and load onto the machine.
  • Safely and accurately use acetylene cutting torches to perform both manual and machine guided cuts in material.
  • Select correct cutting program and utilize CNC equipment to execute machine guided cuts.
  •  Use problem-solving and spatial perception skills to ensure necessary pieces are accurately cut from original plate.
  • Stack, mark, and identify pieces and raw material based on internal inventory system.

Standard Shift:  Monday – Friday; 8;00 AM – 4:30 PM

 Duties and Responsibilities: Once trained and/or certified, the individual filling this position could be asked to perform the following tasks:

  • Use shop drawings and blueprints to determine dimensional specifications, setup requirements, and work procedures.
  • Install workpiece holders such as blocks, risers, or clamps onto production material.
  • Load, unload, or relocate material and product as necessary.
  • Set up and prepare production pieces for drilling, assembly, or additional fabrication.
  • Make manual adjustments such as aligning work pieces or machinery to given specifications.
  • Ensure all material is stored or rigged for movement in accordance with established safety policies.
  • Track, record, and locate material by assigned identification markings.
  • Clean and organize work areas.

Standard Hours: Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Duties and Responsibilities: Once trained and/or certified, the individual filling this position could be asked to perform the following tasks:

  • Tend equipment that cleans dirt, scale, and other materials from metal objects with a blast of abrasive material such as steel shot.
  • Hook up, arrange, and prepare steel product to enter blasting chamber, and start machine.
  • Place objects on moving conveyor that carries objects through abrasive material.
  • Adjust controls on equipment to regulate pressure and amount of abrasive blast.
  • Pour or shovel abrasive material into feed hopper to replenish supply.
  • Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure machine operates efficiently.
