Jefferson City, Missouri

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural Engineering required.
  • Completion or in process of completing Engineer in Training (EIT) designation required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Review project specifications and confer with contractors and customers on structural steel design issues.
  • Work with the Estimating Department to calculate cost and determine feasibility of project based on analysis of collected data.
  • Assist with plant facilities design and management to ensure conformance to engineering plans, specifications, and construction and safety standards.
  • Work with the Detailing Department to prepare internal engineering and design documents to be used by the Production Department.



  •  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural Engineering required.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) designation required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills required.
  • Strong computer skills required, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints required.
  • Five (5) years’ experience in heavy steel fabrication required, ten (10) years’ experience preferred.
  • Steel bridge fabrication experience preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Apply engineering principles and practices towards improving manufacturing processes by working with Production, Plant Operations, Sales, Estimating, Engineering and Detailing Departments.
  • Act as project consultant providing advice and recommendations to the organization.
  • Work with all areas of the organization to develop an overall understanding of processes and be able to provide technical support in the research, design, and development areas.
  • Interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff to address technical needs, resolve issues, and ensure an excellent outcome and experience.
  • Act as lead on special projects and perform other duties as requested.


  • Strong organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and time-management skills are required.
  • Prior experience operating cranes with 10 ton or greater capacity preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED is preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Operate overhead crane (cab or ground controlled) to lift, move, and position loads such as machinery, equipment, products, and raw materials.
  • Calculate, inspect, and compare weight of load with lifting capacity of crane and other equipment to ensure against overloading crane.
  • Observe load hookup and determine safety of load.
  • Move controls to move and position load by sight or at direction of other employees.
  • Inspect cables and grappling devices for wear.
  • Inspect crane for defective parts and notifies supervisor of defects or malfunctions.
  • Direct helpers engaged in placing blocking and assisting with material handling in the production area when lifting and moving loads.
  • Assist production team in other fabrication functions as necessary.

Sedalia, Missouri

General Laborer/Fabricator

  • Strong organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and time-management skills are required.
  • Heavy machine operation and/or fabrication experience is preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED is preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Fabricate and assemble structural metal products.
  • Set up and operate fabricating machines such as automated welders, brakes, shears, cutting torches, and drill presses.
  • Grind, hammer, and chip workpieces to prepare for welding, cutting, bending, and straightening.
  • Use internal blueprints and procedures to verify conformance of welding and production processes to specifications.
  • Utilize overhead cranes to safely move product within the facility.
  • Perform all functional aspects of steel fabrication as directed, including grinding, blasting, cutting, bending, welding, fitting, and assembly.
